Terms of Service

GENERAL
✦ I have the rights to decline your commission request.
✦ Final price is very likely to vary, highly depending on complexity.
✦ Will only accept commission if the finished illustration(s) is on hand, is in the works (can provide a sketch WIP), and/or can give an estimated finished date. This is mainly to avoid scheduling issues.
✦ Original song MVs might have an additional fee ranging from $50~$150 due to a more time-consuming creative process compared to cover MVs, depending on complexity.PAYMENTS & REFUNDS
✦ I accept payment via PayPal and local bank transfer (IDR). Bank transfer is strictly for locals only.
✦ For IDR rates, $1 = 12.000 IDR
✦ 50% of down payment is required before I start on your commission. I accept full upfront payment as well.
✦ Final product in high quality will be sent after I received full payment.
✦ Prices already include commercial use for indie creators. Extended commercial fees may apply to agencies/companies/talents belonging to agencies/companies, this also applies if the final product will be used in any kind of advertising.
✦ Refunds cannot be done if I already worked on about 50% of a client's commission.REVISIONS
✦ General workflow: Visual brainstorming with moodboard -> 1st WIP up until the first chorus -> 2nd WIP until the end of the song. For each WIP, client is allowed to give max. 3 pointers of minor revisions for free.
✦ Minor revision includes: changing text font & object positions, color adjustments (ONLY applies when there is still not a lot to change)
✦ Major revision includes: completely changing a huge portion of text animation/camera animation, changing the whole composited scene/visual direction.
✦ Revisions more than 3 pointers each WIP will require an additional fee depending on complexity. Minor changes are likely to be free of cost. Revision complexity is highly subjective though, so feel free to ask during the commission process!
✦ After final product is sent, no more major revisions are allowed, unless there is a mistake/error from my end.DEADLINES & DELIVERY
✦ Estimated working time on your commission request does not include other personal work and other people in the work queue list, please keep that in mind.
✦ I will inform you when I start on your commission and give updates during the commission process. To always keep track on your commission's progress, please refer to my work queue as I will update it frequently.
✦ Depending on availability, I can do rush commissions with a hard deadline within 2-3 weeks, but requires additional fee. Currently prioritizing this for mutuals/return clients/companies only, but feel free to ask!INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
✦ When using the final product, please credit me as akem and include a link to any of my SNS accounts such as Twitter (https://twitter.com/akeming_) and/or YouTube (https://youtube.com/@akemiyuyu)
✦ I have the rights to include your commission in my portfolio.
✦ I do NOT allow any of my works to be used for AI, NFT, or the likes.COMMUNICATION

✦ Replies may be slow or fast depending on timezones (I live in GMT+7)

Pricing

✦ Complex MV

- Base price starting from $250 USD
- Heavy additional visual elements, complex typography/lyric animation, complex camera work/panning, multiple variations of scenes/compositing.
- Works best with multiple illustrations or story-oriented song.
- Estimated working time: 4-10 weeks

✦ Semi-Complex MV

- Base price starting from $150 USD
- A mix between complex & simple. If unsure about the complexity you're looking for, feel free to consult first through DM & send a reference then I can determine the appropriate price range for you!
- Estimated working time: 2-4 weeks

✦ Simple MV

- Base price starting from $70 USD
- Few additional visual elements (like particles), simple lyric animation, simple camera work/panning, minimal variations of scenes/compositing.
- Estimated working time: 1-2 weeks

✦ Add-Ons

* Character illustration parts must be separated beforehand. I do not offer layer separation as an add-on.
** Chorus video editing is very subjective so feel free to ask first!
